There have been four Stadiums in Cleveland’s History, League Park, Cleveland Municipal Stadium, Jacobs Field/Progressive Field, and Cleveland Browns Stadium/First Energy Stadium.
League Park was home to Cleveland Baseball from 1891 through the 1946 season. Cleveland Municipal Stadium was the part time home of the Tribe starting in 1932 until becoming the full time home of the Tribe from 1947 through the 1993 season. Cleveland Municipal Stadium was also home to the Cleveland Browns from their 1946 inception through the 1995 season.
The new home for the Tribe, then known as Jacobs Field, opened in 1994. The new home for the Browns, then known as Cleveland Browns Stadium, opened in 1999.
